Industrialization Revolution Statistics Graph & Explanatory paragraph

The amount of money that the U.S Federal government spent on transportation improvement increased over 43 years by $1,400,000. Which was 15 times more than what the government first spent on transportation.  Therefore, it allowed the government to supply improvements on transportation. We can assume this was spent on steam boats, trains and furthermore.
 
This assignment was made to show understanding of reading a graph and its assumptions.
