Reflection Blog Post for History

   Reflection Blog Post
In call we did a Socratic Seminar on Child Labor! Three points that I brought up in the discussion was "why don't they make machines used for large hands like they do for small hands." Another point I brought up was that before I learned about Child Labor I wanted  to know " Do some children like Child Labor, because even the there are cons about child labor there are pros as well?" As well as what I found that Child Labor meant in an article. Three key points brought up in the discussion was that by Child Labor can teach a child a value of a dollar, they work in harsh environments, and that the majority of Cotton is made in Child Labor. What we did well during the discussion was that people took the time to hear one another's thoughts and everyone participated. What we didn't do well during the discussion was that even though everyone participated some people were shy. As a class we can learn how to make people feel comfortable and also we couldve made the discussion a debate.
